Tag Swap

A tag I made for a swap at PaperScrappers.ning.com The background is made by Distress Inks and stamps, I love that techneque!

I had never worked with Graphic45, though the papers were too busy for me to work with. But I had to get over the fear and just do something with the papers. So I went to a local scrapbook store and bought some G45 12"x12" papers - not all the same collection - and decided to also try out a paper bag album. I liked it so much I made a workshop with this album! The papers are fantastic, why, but why! hadn't I worked with G45 before!!?? Stupid me!!
Well here's the 1st album, wrer the cover is decorated with I am Roses, string pearls and G45.

For the second album, I tried a different approach and used some os the G45 metalic flowers and I really liked that! Here it is:

Latest Projects - Gate Fold Mini

A Gate-Fold Mini Album that I really enjoyed making, I played around with heat embossing in this album and had loads of fun! It's a colourfull and very happy album. Decided to send this one went out to a special friend in the USA as a birthday present, I hope she likes it!

 

Latest Projects - Lay Outs

 These were my very 1st LO, I was actually proud of myself! I think I did pretty good. I'm so used to mini albums, I thought I wasn't capable of making a huge page. But after a few I got the hang of it and now I quite enjoy them. I'm actually buying 12"x12" paper with a LO in mind.
All my flowers are I am Roses of course and the papers are a mix of G45 and some other I can't remember, lol.

 This LO below, I made myself. I have a video o how I made it with distress inks and stamps. The LO itself was for a challenge I was in, a Slim Challenge at PaperScrappers.ning.com We had to report our diet that month. As you can see I cheated, I couldn't resist a Cadburies chocolate bar and that was my report for the month, lol.

 This is just another page I created using Distress Inks and stamps.

Latest projects - Altered Boxes

I know I haven't been posting my latest projects here on my blog, so here goes. These are the altered boxes I made these last fews months.

This is a wooden box with a glass top to see in. Inside I made a min album small enough to fit. Decorated with I am Roses, there are Cherrie Blossems, Dasies, and some roses (R3), all wouind around a vine stick.
 

This was my 1st attempt in making a Shabby Chic box. I think it came out pretty well. I painted the box light pink and decorated it with lace, trim and I am Roses.

IAR "April Showers Bring May Flowers" YouTube Contest

A I am Roses tem um novo concurso para esta primavera, vejam o blog da I Am Roses Challenge Blog, para mais detalhes ou o meu vídeo que tem os detalhes em português.


Para o projecto da equipa de design da IamRoses, decidi fazer um Tag com cores suaves. O desafio para este concurso é fazermos as flores feitas à mão, ou seja as nossa próprias flores, utilizando elementos da IamRoses.

Construí estas flores utilizando as pétalas brancas P25, colori duas com o mei glimmermist - Terracota Gold - para lhe dar um tom rosa alaranjado, depois uma rosa R3. Por baixo da Rosa pus 2 petalas cor de rosa das P70. No meio coloquei duas tiras de tela de Arreiolos e os centros da IAR (Steman) ST1. Adorei o resultado e posso dizer que foi divertido inventar e construir flores assim!

Mini Album Pink

Eu não sou nada de cor de rosa, mas a I am Roses enviou-me umas flores lindas lindas em cor de rosa e tive que experimentar. Fui aos meus papeis para ver o que tinha de papeis nesse tom, e encontrei um pack de papeis que já tinha à anos e fiquei contente por finalmente dar uso a eles. Fiz este mini album tb num workshop que dei e adorei o resultado. As cores eram perfeitas pois os papeis tinham um pouco de preto e cinza para desenjoar o rosa. E na capa utilizei, como é costume um monte de IamRoses diferentes.
