I Am Roses “A Haunting We Will Go” Blog Hop

In Portugal we don't celebrate Halloween much, but now and then we do get some kids going out trick or treating. I live in a small vilage so it's not normal to see this, but last year we had some kids knocking on our door! And what I remember was that they had their hands all sticky and full of chocolate from all the treats they were eating, LOL. So that's why this year I decided to decorate a Tissue Box for my Halloween project, to cleen those grubby hands!

Here's what I made:

The flowers I used on my project were the R77 in white, which I sprayed with Dylusions and glittered them up. Together with the big, lovey R77 I used the R6 in sades of Purple. THe green leaves around the box are the ZQL0-1.

Desafio de Cor da IamRoses

Olá a todos e bem vindo a mais um desafio da IamRoses! Desta vez para celebrar o regresso às aulas que está para breve, para este mês escolhemos a cor AMARELA. Uma cor perfeira para sinalar o final do verão e o inicio de mais um ano lectivo! E claro como todos os desafios da IamRoses temos um premio para vos dar. Por isso não percam mais uma oportonidade de concorrerem para ganharem mais flores da IamRoses!
O que têm que fazer é simples: um projecto com pelo menos 2 artigos da IamRoses, o tema é regresso às aulas e a cor dominante dos artigos IamRoses tem que ser AMARELO. Podem fazer desde um LO, cartão, mini album, onjecto alterado, etc, tanta coisa que podem fazer!
Regras:
- Datas do concurso: 13 -31 de Agosto 2012;
- Cores: Amarelo com tema regresso às aulas;

IAR Sketch #1 - Challenge

Há um novo desafio no blog da I am Roses! Se gostas de seguir um sketch para fazer os teus LayOuts, paginas ou cartões então este é o desafio para ti! Passa no blog da IAR para ver os detalhes. Aqui está o sketch, desenhado pela talentosa Arlene!

Como sabem ainda sou muito verde nos LO, mas seguir um sketch para fazer um é muito fácil, até gostei do resultado final. Aqui está...

Utilizei uma folha decorativa que comprei na loja de Coimbra, que por sua vez parecia uma mistura de tintas e mixed media. Agarrei uma foto minha quando era pequenina e quando visitei Portugal dos Pequenitos - que ainda adoro! LOL. As flores que usei foram as Daisies (D1) Puffy Daisies (PS619), umas folhas verdes, no centro da minha malmequer gigante tenho uma R6. Depois podem ver o tutorial de como fiz a malmequer :)

Tag Swap

A tag I made for a swap at PaperScrappers.ning.com The background is made by Distress Inks and stamps, I love that techneque!

I had never worked with Graphic45, though the papers were too busy for me to work with. But I had to get over the fear and just do something with the papers. So I went to a local scrapbook store and bought some G45 12"x12" papers - not all the same collection - and decided to also try out a paper bag album. I liked it so much I made a workshop with this album! The papers are fantastic, why, but why! hadn't I worked with G45 before!!?? Stupid me!!
Well here's the 1st album, wrer the cover is decorated with I am Roses, string pearls and G45.

For the second album, I tried a different approach and used some os the G45 metalic flowers and I really liked that! Here it is:

Latest Projects - Gate Fold Mini

A Gate-Fold Mini Album that I really enjoyed making, I played around with heat embossing in this album and had loads of fun! It's a colourfull and very happy album. Decided to send this one went out to a special friend in the USA as a birthday present, I hope she likes it!
